New Year, New You??!
Alas, the new year, full of resolutions and good intent. Ha! It makes me laugh a little. Why does this beginning inspire us to "start anew" make drastic and often not long lasting changes and improvement to our lives? Like only starting diets on Mondays. Strange really. Animals don't start the year anew? There isn't some shark out there turning over a new leaf to be a vegetarian.(Cue Bruce!) But I will admit, there is something that changes at that stroke of midnight. The once celebratory and party holiday atmosphere evaporates and that first work-day becomes more focused and driving. It even happens in real estate. While the end of the year slows as people prepare for holiday celebrations, sales become fewer and showings dwindle. The next work day is suddenly busy. As with every year, this year has been no exception. We have taxied the runway and are beginning to take flight on what appears to be a busy real estate market. A good overall start to the new year. I hope that your new year is as busy (or not as busy) as you hope it to be. Stay safe. G
